Welcome to the Principal's Corner
Mr. David Menges
Dear Members of St. John's
It is with heavy heart that I inform you that I will be retiring this summer. I had hoped to teach one more year and ease out of the ministry on a more relaxed schedule, but the Lord has different plans.
I've so enjoyed working among the wonderful people of this congregation for these last 44 years; you have faithfully supported my family, prayed for me, and entrusted your precious children to my care. Though I anticipated teaching a short while longer, our plans are secondary to God's plans for us - and thankfully so - because as He promises in Romans 8:28, " in all things God works for the good of those who love Him."
So it is with a joyous heart that I now enter retirement, family entrenched in the goodness of God's love. Naomi and I look forward to staying here in Lewiston and enjoying the camaraderie of this area and of our St. John's family in particular. May the grace of our loving Savior continue to attend us as we seek always to serve Him.
With gratitude and love for our Savior and you,
